#dedoc° Showcases DiaPS at Bayer Health & Safety Day

The DiaPS – Diabetes and Sport Peer Support project was presented during Bayer Health & Safety Day by #dedoc°, one of the project’s partners, further increasing the visibility of the initiative among Bayer employees and stakeholders.

As part of the event, #dedoc° showcased DiaPS educational materials and introduced participants to the project’s mission of supporting people living with Type 1 Diabetes through digital peer support, education, and sport.

Promoting diabetes awareness beyond the sports community

Bayer Health & Safety Day provided an excellent opportunity to reach a wider audience and raise awareness about the everyday challenges faced by people living with diabetes.

Visitors learned more about the DiaPS project, its educational resources, and the digital platform designed to connect people living with diabetes with reliable information, practical tools, and a supportive peer community.

The event also highlighted the positive role that physical activity and sport can play in diabetes management and overall well-being.

Expanding the reach of DiaPS

Through the active involvement of project partners such as #dedoc°, DiaPS continues to reach new audiences beyond the sports sector. Presenting the project at workplace health events contributes to greater awareness of diabetes, encourages conversations about inclusion and well-being, and helps introduce innovative support tools to people who may benefit from them.

Every dissemination opportunity strengthens the project’s impact and supports its mission of empowering people living with diabetes to lead active and confident lives.
