DiaPS Presented at the HAŠK Mladost General Assembly
On 20 May 2025, the DiaPS – Diabetes and Sport Peer Support project was presented at the HAŠK Mladost General Assembly, providing an opportunity to inform members of the organisation about the project’s progress, activities, and achievements.
The General Assembly serves as an important platform for sharing updates on ongoing initiatives, highlighting key results, and showcasing the impact of projects implemented within HAŠK Mladost and its wider network of partners.
Sharing project progress and achievements
During the presentation, attendees were introduced to the latest developments within the DiaPS project, including the progress made in the development of the digital platform, the creation of educational resources, and the project’s growing visibility across Europe and beyond.
The presentation also highlighted the collaborative work carried out by project partners, as well as the contribution of athletes, people living with diabetes, healthcare professionals, coaches, and community members who have supported the project throughout its implementation.
Promoting awareness within the multisport community
Presenting DiaPS at the General Assembly provided an opportunity to further raise awareness about the challenges and opportunities faced by people living with diabetes in sport.
Members of HAŠK Mladost learned more about the project’s mission to promote inclusion, peer support, and equal opportunities in sport through innovative digital solutions and educational resources.
Looking ahead
As the project entered its final implementation phase, the Assembly also provided a chance to present upcoming activities and expected outcomes, including the launch of the DiaPS application and the continued dissemination of project results.
Sharing these achievements with the wider HAŠK Mladost community reinforces the importance of collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and the role sport can play in supporting healthier and more inclusive communities.
