DiaPS Project Presented During Abbott Educational Webinar
The DiaPS – Diabetes and Sport Peer Support project continues to gain visibility through collaborations with healthcare professionals and educational initiatives dedicated to improving diabetes care.
During an educational webinar organised by Abbott Laboratories Croatia, Prof. Dr. Sc. Maja Cigrovski Berkovićintroduced the DiaPS project and highlighted the ongoing development of the DiaPS mobile application. The webinar brought together people living with diabetes and healthcare professionals interested in the latest approaches to diabetes management and technology.
Raising awareness about DiaPS
As part of her presentation, Prof. Cigrovski Berković spoke about the objectives of the DiaPS project, emphasising its mission to support people living with diabetes through digital peer support, evidence-based educational content, and a strong community of athletes, coaches, parents, and healthcare professionals.
Participants were also introduced to the DiaPS application, which was under development at the time and designed to provide practical guidance, reliable information, and a safe space for sharing experiences related to diabetes and sport.

The promotion of DiaPS during the webinar reflects the importance of collaboration between the healthcare sector and the sports community.
